Nokia C3 Review

As we all know, mobile technical publications in general with news and reviews on tens of dollars, the iPhone smartphone and 4 were flooded - but at the lower end of the market?

Well, the place is quite competitive, and Nokia intends to give a royal shuffle with the new device, the Nokia C3. But it is good and what is more important, it can in the fight against competition from LG, Samsung and INQ?

When you first get the Nokia C3 out of the box you feel you have received the wrong device could be sent - it seems expensive, has a beautiful metallic finish and full BlackBerry-esque QWERTY keyboard.

And this is something of a departure for Nokia, but a look nice low-end devices in general, well, exactly that: low, plastic and cheap.

The Nokia C3 is that none of these things. The device is beautifully designed with a metal backplate and shiny plastic on the front, which at first glance like metal.

Unfortunately, it is not. But for 80 pounds, it would be almost rude to ask for more - especially since it looks like a lower end BlackBerry and Nokia do not really like anything.

The device also measures 115.5x58.1x13.6mm well proportioned and it is slightly larger than the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and will fit perfectly in the pocket means. Interestingly, however, is actually the Nokia C3 114g lighter than the Bold 9700, which is at least 122g.

Unfortunately, that's where the comparisons end BlackBerry, and as mentioned, the Nokia C3 the "less difficult" for mobile users, Nokia has both hardware and software to reduce the cost saved on a ridiculously low £ 80.

For example, the camera is 2 megapixels, no flash, and everything is fine, well-lit environments, it is quite useless after dark or in poorly lit rooms.

There's also no 3G either, so you only have Wi-Fi, which is not necessarily a bad thing as long as you are not bothered about online 24 / 7. However, if you then maybe you should think about upgrading to a device or a low-end S60 phone Android.

Apparently in order to keep the price down sharply, with Nokia Symbian S40 OS decided in the C3 - so it's not the fastest thing in the world and there is absolutely no multitasking.

This may deter many users, but overall in the tests we have found that for basic things such as navigation, gaming and Web pages load, it worked beautifully. If you want more than that, you have to pay more. Simple.

On the other hand, we have many problems with the Nokia C3 Wi-Fi, the denial of rights on three separate networks had - we were about an hour, decided to return the phone, tried again and finally we managed connected to a network for it.

The C3 2.4-inch screen, which clocks at 320 x 240 pixels, both bright and clear. It is not brilliant, and he will not win any awards, but it is significantly better than the screens we are on some mid-range devices, which have seen cost a few hundred pounds - and it's certainly a good thing ! Kudos, Nokia.

The Nokia C3 Opera Mini has a built-in browser of choice and while the performance varies from listener to listen to Opera, we must give credit to the Nokia C3, as it was a pleasure to surf with Opera Mini Basic Click zoom-to-more than offset the terrible open the Nokia C3 key.

There is also the Ovi, you can expect as it is, with games and applications that can be downloaded in Snaptu, all links from your social networks shizz packed together in one place.

The Nokia C3 also has three customizable widgets on their home screen, we have e-mail, Facebook and Twitter - although there are many more combinations. We found this to be an ideal set all the important things - like this: e-mail, Facebook and Twitter accounts - we are all in one place and could not be checked with a glance.

However, there is an annoying delay when using Nokia C3 cuts to a screen Nokia Communities and invites you while Wi-Fi that you want met before the Facebook page, which takes about 10 seconds.

This is the Twitter widget is pretty awful - so if you're a heck of Twitter, you can look around for an alternative. But on the whole set-up on the home screen and easily more than enough to need someone who is not about to cram their cameras bothered fully paid applications and games.

In terms of storage, the Nokia C3 much. The unit comes with a 2GB microSD card and can store up to 16GB, so you have more than enough room for your music. It also supports virtually all forms of audio - MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC - under the sun, so there should be no problem with reading.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Nokia C3 is its QWERTY keyboard, which is literally amazing, by type. The buttons are perfect and the material is soft to the touch, long typing emails and texts means an absolute breeze.

As we have said, this phone is not particularly effective and Nokia have really saved on hardware and software to lower the price, a very competitive £ 80, but it does not matter, because the phone is so good, and so serve a joy that you are really pretty much forget everything else and just go back to your day.

This is just one of our most popular budget phone from Nokia. We like the price, the keyboard and appearance.

Soft Reset and Hard Reset of Mobile Phone

Soft-reset - It is process of resetting whole settings on the cellphone to factory settings! No applications deleted.
Hard reset - Is like formatting the hard drive! It will format the memory. All that was installed after the first use of the phone removed. It is the phone memory to retrieve the state which bought it. It is done by inputting the following code:
* # 7370 #

Note: The battery must be full or the charger can be connected to the phone, so there is no shortage of power and make the phone unusable.

How totally format your Nokia phone and remove all installed applications, user files and restore all
Settings to their default values, because it is new out of the box? (Non-OEM applications such as Camera and RealOne Player will be deleted).

Format first MMC: Menu> Extras> Memory> Options> Format mem. Card> Yes.
Note: It is very important to your format MMC before you format.
Then format your phone by typing * # 7370 # on main Phone screen.
Phone will ask: "Restore all original phone settings, phone restarts?". Press "Yes" and enter your lock code (default 12345).
Tip: Formatting takes several minutes so you'd better connect your cellphone to a charger to ensure that your battery from empty in the middle of formatting.
Note: All your access points and lost the mailboxes, so make a note of them to be. And all settings are reset.
For example, In Camera, image quality is again set to normal and memory in use is returned to the phone memory. And also in the messages, used to the phone memory, etc. Also backup your contacts with PC Suite or a program like Business Contact Manager.

To reset your wallet, you should forget your PIN,
Type:
* # 7370925538 #
This will reset the wallet code, the contents of the portfolio will be deleted.

How to free More RAM on Mobile Phone

Three methods to free more ram on your mobile phone.
Method 1: Flight mode:
Put your phone in "Flight" with Psiloc System Tools. Install System Tools, open it and select "Flight mode". This allows the phone without a SIM card can be restarted, there is no phone tasks running in the background. Now you can store up to 3.5 MB of free RAM!
Note: paradoxically, the flight mode does not work when Smart Launcher is installed, at least in my case. But I also have several reports of people who carried out the two applications without hearing problems.

Method 2: Smart Launcher trick:
Install Smart Launcher and open. Go to Options, Settings and put launcher.
Now in your charger plug and turn off your phone. Wait until the charging indicator appears and short press the Menu button (do not).
The menu should appear and you can now have 03/05 to 04/05 MB of free RAM! (Hold Menu button to check RAM).
The thing is that it is plugged into the charger, the phone must get a minimum software support for charging, even if the phone is off. And somehow Smart Launcher has still its shortcut running and that is the menu button. So if you press the menu button will take you directly to the menu without any other phone tasks in the background so you trick the phone and you have more free RAM! Note: If you unplug the charger from the mains, switch off the phone.

Method 3: Menu:
This method, which I found by myself, it releases some 100 ~ 200 KB but I think it's useful sometimes
Close your menu not by pressing the right button for selecting "exit" or close by pressing the menu key another time, she said off the menu application, but do not close the select button on the left selection "option" and scroll down and select "Exit"

So if you open an application needs more RAM to open the menu and close it, it is useful when playing with the video in low flow in paradise real-time player.
