Save mobile if it gets wet:

Remove the battery from Mobile phone as early as possible and also other attachments like memory cards.

Remove your SIM card and keep it in sunlight to dry it out.

Remove as much water as possible and as quickly as possible. For this use absorbent material like towel or tissues

Let the mobile to dry out either in sunlight or air. Don't put the battery in the mobile to see if it works as this may damage the phone with a short circuit.

Leave it in a warm and dry place and let the water evaporate.

Try to replace the battery if all above steps does not work at all.

If you still not found your mobile working then take it to mobile shop to repair it.


Tips to increase battery life time, Get best performance from your battery:

Charge once in a day and allow it to be full

Don't charge and discharge battery frequently

Don't use same battery in different mobiles like a battery of Nokia1112 should not be used for Nokia N95

Don't remove battery cover or seal

Disable all moving wallpapers and select static wallpaper for your mobile

Keep backlight time minimum.

If possible disable screen saver also.
