Leading Mobile Operators Announce Commitment to NFC Technology

Many leading mobile phone operators worldwide, such as America Movil ,China Unicom,  Bharti, German Telecom, Axiata Berhad Group,Orange, KT Corporation, Qtel Group MTS, Telecom Italia, Softbank Mobile, Telefonica, Telekom Austria Group, Vodafone and Telenor have expressed their commitment to Near Field Communications Implementation Technology (NFC), and for commercial NFC services launched in selected markets, 2012.

"NFC is best known for his role in mobile payments known, but their applications go far beyond," said Franco Bernabe, CEO of the GSMA, Telecom Italia.
