Leading Mobile Operators Announce Commitment to NFC Technology


Many leading mobile phone operators worldwide, such as America Movil ,China Unicom,  Bharti, German Telecom, Axiata Berhad Group,Orange, KT Corporation, Qtel Group MTS, Telecom Italia, Softbank Mobile, Telefonica, Telekom Austria Group, Vodafone and Telenor have expressed their commitment to Near Field Communications Implementation Technology (NFC), and for commercial NFC services launched in selected markets, 2012.

"NFC is best known for his role in mobile payments known, but their applications go far beyond," said Franco Bernabe, CEO of the GSMA, Telecom Italia. "NFC is a significant opportunity for innovation and a wide range meaningful service and consumer applications, such as couponing mobile ticketing, mobile, exchange of information and content, access to cars, houses, hotels, offices and parking to facilitate much more. The market potential of NFC is significant - according to Frost & Sullivan, the value of total payment of NFC over € 110 000 000 000 in 2015 - and the momentum behind the technology is very fast.
